Harry, Pippa, Beatrice, and Eugenie attend wedding in Italy without William or Kate

The young royals, Middletons, and Middleton-adjacents stepped out for the society wedding of Charlie Gilkes and Anneke von Trotha Taylor in Monopoli, Italy at the Carlo V Castle yesterday, September 19. Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice and her Male Waity boyfriend Dave Clark, Princess Eugenie, professional wedding guest Pippa Middleton and her Male Waity boyfriend Nico Jackson, James Middleton and his girlfriend Donna Air, and Carole Middleton were all in attendance. Not in attendance were the Grumpy Faced Prince William who was unable to go due to taking over the Malta trip and pregnant Kate Middleton who is stuck in London or Bucklebury or somewhere without her mommy to take care of her.

Is Cressida Bonas pulling a “Waity” by “showing Harry what he’s missing”?

Yay, new Cressida photos!! (Scroll down for photo)  There were new photos from earlier this week, but I didn’t have a story to go with them so I didn’t post them.  I’m not sure how much interest there is left in Cressida—I’m not sure how much interest there ever was in Cressida—but I got so used to the idea of Duchess Cressida, that I’m having a hard time letting it go, and I get more excited than I should when there are new Cress photos.

Cressida stepped out last night with Princess Beatrice, her boyfriend—the Male Waity—Dave Clark, and Princess Eugenie and her boyfriend Jack Brookbanks.  They were at a private club, Annabel’s, in London, but I’m not sure what the event was since these outfits are clearly not the normal clubbing outfits.

Prince William and Prince Harry take US by storm… of media coverage for a private wedding; leave Kate at home

I’m going to be completely honest, I’ve been putting off reporting about Prince William and Prince Harry’s excursion to America because the way the American press and fans have reacted to the Prince’s visit is cringe-worthy.  It makes me embarrassed to be an American.  Kate did not attend.  We can debate why she didn’t go and talk about all the nefarious reasons behind that decision (and we will), but let’s be honest here, given the press’s reaction to Will and Harry, imagine how much worse it would have been if Kate had been on US soil.  I’m stating it now: it’s a good thing Kate skipped this wedding.  By the way, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie attended the wedding as well, but the US media doesn’t really care about them.

Princess Beatrice attended the Portrait Gala, too

Princess Beatrice attended the Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery last night, the same one Kate headlined.  The previous articles made no mention of her, but they got photos of her leaving (I’m guessing by the bag in her hand) the event.  She wore a black wrap dress and black heels, and carried a black clutch.  She wore her hair down and loose.  No jewelry (except a small tied bracelet on her wrist).  She looks nice.  I would have done an earring and worn my hair up, but she looks good.

It is NOT okay to call her Princess Kate: titles clarification

There has been some confusion/controversy over Kate Middleton’s official title in the last few days.  It all started when Clarence House released an image of Prince George’s birth certificate and under “mother’s occupation” it said, “Princess of the United Kingdom”.  After this was made public, the media pounced on the “princess” reference.  They made a huge deal about Kate being called a princess, and a lot of reporters and fans were saying it is now okay to call Kate, Princess Kate.  Of course the rational, non-sycophants were very unhappy with this and pushed against those saying Kate is a princess and that it’s okay to call her Princess Kate by saying that Kate is not a princess but rather a duchess, since she was bestowed the title Duchess of Cambridge upon her marriage.  I would like to clarify things a bit:

Beatrice and Eugenie’s Style Transformation: The right way to PR campaign

There is a new article about Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in the Daily Mail.  It is all about how they have turned into really great young ladies over the last few years and are ready to take on real roles, as members of the royal family and in the real-world work force.  It’s a nice piece of PR.  Clearly it is designed to make them look good and make the public like them.  Well, it worked for me.  For now.  I will have to follow them into the future and see how they handle things and see where their careers take them to see if they really are serious about being working women, but for now I will give them a chance.  It seems like there are a lot of people behind the scenes that want these two to be taken seriously as royals, to no longer be the butt of jokes in the press, and to not be pushed out by Charles.  Just from this one article, these two girls seem much better than Kate or William, or Harry for that matter.
