This week’s State Visits continued on March 28 with Queen Maxima, Queen Mathilde and Crown Princess Mary.
Duchess Kate wasn’t the only royal lady out and about on January 24, several other ladies were as well. Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess Mary were at a State Banquet; Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was hosting a reception for Equestrian Olympians; and Queen Maxima opened an education exhibition.
Both the Danish Royal Family and the Japanese Imperial Family celebrate the new year by donning tiaras. The Danes hold their New Year’s Banquet at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, while the Japanese hold their New Year’s ceremony at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were on an official business promotion trip to Washington D.C. and Boston from September 27-30.
