Here is a little royal round up of some things that have been happening. Prince William officially left his job with the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), the Swedish royal family color-coordinated in blue for their summer photo, and the Belgian royal family color-coordinated in purples for National Day.

Royal Round Up: Triple the tiara appearances & double the York princesses

This royal round up features three separate tiara appearances (one that barely makes the count as royal, but whatevs) and two different York princesses. Queen Mathilde and Crown Princess Mette-Marit were out and about at State Banquets while Princess Beatrice was doing the charity thing and Princess Eugenie was attending a service at Westminster Abbey.

Royal Round Up: sailing, babies, and tiaras

Here’s a quick round up of some royal things: Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge sailing with Ben Ainslie; baby photos from Princess Madeleine and the King and Queen of Bhutan; and tiaras from Queen Maxima, Queen Mathilde, Queen Rania, and Queen Silvia.

There has been a lot happening that I haven’t covered, so I’ve had to narrow down my focus for this post. I’m just covering Kate’s sailing, baby photos, and tiara events. I’ll have another round up with more royal stuff later this week.

Queen Margrethe’s 75th birthday gala dinner: night one

Last night, April 15, Queen Margrethe held a Gala Dinner at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark. This was the first of two gala dinners this week in celebration of Margrethe’s 75th birthday. The second dinner is tonight, on her actual birthday. The first gala was attended by many monarchs (and their spouses) from across Europe. No one from the British Royal Family was there. The gala was a white tie event with tiaras and orders.
