Kensington Palace announced Kate Middleton‘s new private secretary back on July 31, and the woman is way over-qualified. Plus, royal princes from Jordan and Luxembourg graduated Sandhurst.
This royal round up features Queen Elizabeth II visiting Manchester attack victims, Queen Maxima donning a tiara for a diplomatic corps gala dinner, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie donning a tiara for a state visit, and Princess Eugenie out and about.
There were several royals out and about at the Cannes Film Festival this past weekend, including Princess Beatrice, Queen Rania, and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie.
Kate Middleton made her second solo overseas visit yesterday, May 11, when she visited Luxembourg at the request of HM’s Government.
Following the big tiara-filled gala dinner on May 9, the royals came out for Day 2 of the 80th Birthday celebrations of King Harald and Queen Sonja, which was a government-hosted black tie dinner at the Opera House in Oslo. It was rainy and wet so the royals had to cover up with umbrellas and outerwear.
Last night, May 9, King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway held a joint 80th birthday dinner at the Royal Palace in Oslo – their birthdays are February 21 (for Harald) and July 4 (for Sonja). A truck load of Norwegian and foreign royals attended including crowd favorites Crown Princess Victoria, Queen Maxima, and The Countess of Wessex.
And we’re back with the poll results for our 2017 predictions. Some of the results were predictable, but some of the results were not what I was expecting at all. And there were some write-in votes that I hadn’t thought of.

This past week Sophie, Countess of Wessex was in Canada, Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg celebrated Luxembourg National Day, and Crown Princess Mette-Marit took part in the Royal Silver Jubilee Tour in Norway.
