Kate Middleton and Prince George watch Prince William and Prince Harry play polo

It’s that time of year again, folks. Time for the now-annual Cambridge Family Polo Photoshoot. This year, they were at the Gigaset Charity Polo Match at the Beaufort Polo Club. Prince George wore his signature blue, because I guess the Cambs don’t realize there are other colors in the rainbow. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wore her now-annual outfit of a 3/4 length sleeve striped shirt, skinny jeans, and boat shoes. Prince William looked like, well, Prince William. And Prince Harry looked like a hot Ginger Prince in his white pants. Oh, and Prince Charles showed up looking dapper in a tan suit.

Queen Margrethe’s 75th birthday gala dinner: night one

Last night, April 15, Queen Margrethe held a Gala Dinner at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark. This was the first of two gala dinners this week in celebration of Margrethe’s 75th birthday. The second dinner is tonight, on her actual birthday. The first gala was attended by many monarchs (and their spouses) from across Europe. No one from the British Royal Family was there. The gala was a white tie event with tiaras and orders.

The two biggest headlines? Kate talking about her due date, and her cheap dress selling out. Seriously, that’s what the papers focused on.

Duchess Kate wears light blue maternity coat for three appearances in Kensington

Huzzah, Kate isn’t in mourning! Kate Middleton put on her big girl panties and finally stepped out of her non-maternity mourning clothes for three engagements in Kensington today, January 19. Kate visited the charity Family Friends for a coffee morning (BTW I’m so used to typing “mourning” that I typed that first and had to correct myself), then she officially opened the Kensington Aldridge Academy, then hopped over to the Kensington Leisure Centre and officially opened that.

Duchess Kate still in mourning clothes at Art Room opening (updated)

Kate Middleton made her first appearance of 2015 today, January 15, as she officially named The Clore Art Room at Barlby School in West London. Kate is of course still in mourning for her pre-pregnancy body and continued the mourning clothes trend today. She mixed it up slightly, though, choosing navy instead of black. Turner-prize winning artist Grayson Perry joined Kate at the Art Room opening as he is a Patron of the organization as well.

Back to Black: The Duchess Kate Story

William and Kate at GREAT Reception at NeueHouse

Duchess Kate was back in black for the GREAT Reception at NeueHouse with Prince William. She wore another Seraphine Maternity dress, the Vanessa. I mean, she looks nice, and it’s much better than her black lace dresses, but damn I am just so sick of Kate wearing black. Oh, and let’s not forget the $80,000 elephant in the room. Kate brought back her Cartier Trinity necklace she previously wore in 2012.
