Swedish royals give interviews for ‘Aret med Kungafamiljen’

The annual documentary Aret med Kungafamiljen (A Year with the Royal Family) aired last night in Sweden and featured interviews with the Swedish royals while going about their royal duties. The documentary focused on Prince Carl Philip‘s wedding to then-Sofia Hellqvist as well as Princess Sofia‘s work in South Africa with Project Playground, Crown Princess Victoria‘s overseas visits, Prince Daniel‘s work with kids and sports, Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine visiting the Pope, and King Carl XVI Gustaf fishing.

Crown Princess Victoria releases new photos of Princess Estelle, visits Värmland

Not a ton of you were interested in Princess Charlene’s twins, so I don’t know how many of you will be interested in new photos of Princess Estelle of Sweden, but I’m posting them anyway because four new photos of Princess Estelle were released yesterday. Also, Princess Madeleine and Princess Leonore were out and about in London and Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Värmland.

Royal Round Up: Queen Elizabeth, Prince William, Princess Charlene, Queen Mathilde, CP Victoria

Oy, Sunday’s Royal Round Up got pushed to Monday afternoon. Oh well, at least it’s up now. This week we’ve got some British royals, namely the Queen and an old video, Prince William and some shade, and Princess Eugenie doing not her official job. We’ve also got Princess Charlene giving an interview, Queen Mathilde rocking rug shorts, and the Swedes on summer vacation. Also we’re celebrating a birthday from Norway.

Crown Princess Victoria celebrates 38th birthday

Crown Princess Victoria birthday

Crown Princess Victoria celebrated her 38th birthday yesterday, July 14. Victoria celebrated Victoriadagen (Victoria Day) by greeting a crowd of more than 3,000 people outside Solliden Palace on Öland where King Carl XVI Gustaf led cheers and a sing-a-long of “Yes, May She Live”. Prince Daniel, Princess Estelle, and Queen Silvia joined for the greeting outside Solliden. They then of course met the crowd.
