Princess Sofia at sustainability conference in Båstad

Can you believe it’s August already? This year has flown by so fast. It feels like only a few weeks ago when Princess Sofia announced her pregnancy, so whenever I see her I forget how far along she is. She’s due in September, but it still feels like April to me, so I was surprised by how pregnant she looks in these photos from August 2, even though I shouldn’t have been. Anyway, here’s a Sofia update. She attended the Sustainability and Future Seminar “A Sustainable Tomorrow” on August 2.

Did the name of Sofia Hellqvist’s wedding dress designer get leaked?

The Swedish Royal Palace will not officially announce who has designed Sofia Hellqvist‘s wedding dress until the wedding day, but as with Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine, it is possible that Sofia’s wedding dress designer has been leaked ahead of time. There is a rumor that Ida Sjöstedt is designing Sofia’s wedding dress.

Silvia, Victoria, Madeleine, Sofia: Which Swedish Royal lady looked best at the Nobel Prize Ceremony?

Cue the mic drop, Crown Princess Victoria just schooled everyone in how to bring the fashion dramz. Victoria went all out stunning for the Nobel Prize Ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall and Nobel Banquet at Stockholm City Hall in a red, strapless ballgown accessorized with a fringe tiara. This is what I think of when I think of a Princess. That’s not to say that Queen Silvia, Princess Madeleine, and Sofia Hellqvist didn’t look fantastic, they did, but Victoria stole the show for me.
