Service of Thanksgiving for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday

The British Royal Family came out to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II‘s 90th birthday with a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral today, June 10, including favorites: Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Today is also Prince Philip‘s 95th birthday.

In feel-good news, Prince Harry kept his promise to an Invictus Games competitor who asked him to give her gold medal to Papworth Hospital in London. He delivered the medal to the hospital team yesterday, June 1. They were joined by Prince Harry, who is an old hat at this now, having attended for several years. The final night of the Royal Windsor Horse Show took place last night. The event was extra special this year because it was in honor of Queen Elizabeth‘s 90th birthday. In honor of HM’s birthday, many, many royals turned out to watch the show with the Queen.

Kate Middleton, Sophie Wessex, more talk about the Queen on ‘Our Queen At 90’

I was able to watch ITV’s documentary about Queen Elizabeth II, Our Queen at 90, I’ve pulled some quotes from the program. The documentary was a look at the Queen’s life and had video of her from the past year, videos from her entire life, and interviews from various members of her family – such as Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (in her second ever interview), Prince William, Kate Middleton (in her first sit-down interview as a royal), Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

The royals were out and about this weekend for Easter celebrations.
