Kate is STILL not in London!?

Kate Middleton is an idiot, and the Palace are liars.  Do you remember when it was announced that Kate wasn’t going to be at the Percy wedding because she didn’t want to travel so far from London because she was afraid of going into labor early?  Well I called that line a bunch of crap back then, but now it is really apparent that that line was a bunch of crap, because Kate has no problem leaving London to stay in Bucklebury with her parents so close to her due date.  Kate is STILL in Bucklebury, and plans to stay there for the next few days, with William (that really is a shocker since they haven’t spent much time together during the entire pregnancy).

Camilla hopes for the end of the week/Kate writes a letter/Uncle Gary is a lunatic

Camilla did an engagement in Cornwall and while revealing a plague to commemorate her visit, said, “We are all just waiting by the telephone. We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here.”  All the press outlets are jumping on that saying that the baby will definitely be here by the end of the week.  I want to point out that she said HOPEFUL, they are HOPEFUL that the baby will be here by the end of the week; not that it for sure will be here by the end of the week.  Goodness, people, get a grip.  Seriously, the #GreatKateWait (someone started that hashtag on Twitter and I think it’s funny, it really is fitting) is getting to these reporters.  Or is it the heat in London outside the #LimboWing (another Twitter hashtag that is funny and oh so appropriate)?

The Midds will be the best grandparents ever! Oh, and the Queen and Charles are around, too.

Ugh, this article deserves a post of its own it is that awful.  It is titled, Queen and Charles will dote on child, but spends the first chunk putting down George V and Mary as horrible and unfeeling grandparents and then spouts on and on about how great and doting the Middleton’s will be as grandparents.

Kate is nervous to give birth but is keeping herself “busy”; plus she’s getting free gifts

Goodness, I’m really getting sick of this, I’m ready for it to be over.  But then again, I’m going out of town for the holiday weekend so I’m really hoping that Kate won’t go into labor until at least the seventh, if not later.  Watch the baby be born today (because it’s July 4th now since it’s after midnight), ugh.  Today I was watching E News and they started the show off with pictures of Kate and I freaked out for a moment thinking she had had the baby—which I knew was not possible since none of the royal reporters on Twitter had mentioned anything (I’ve been Twitter stalking all of them so I don’t miss anything), but I still had that moment.  I’m not even a Kate supporter, nor am I really excited about the new baby, but the closer we get to the birth the more my nerves are on edge.  I don’t want to miss it, you know.  Maybe I’m more excited than I’ve led myself to believe.  Or maybe I’m just curious to the sex and what they’ll name it (I think, or at least I want, it to be a boy, and be named Arthur.  It probably won’t be named Arthur, but I still think it would be great if they named it that.  I just don’t want it to be a girl and be named Diana; that would be the worst thing possible for that poor kid).  Anyway, more Kate news:

Prince Charles Loves Doctor Who

Prince Charles loves Doctor Who, who knew

Charles and Camilla went to the set of Doctor Who in Cardiff, Wales and took a tour. I am a huge Doctor Who fan.  That’s something Prince Charles and I apparently have in common.  Charles has been a Doctor Who fan since he was a teenager—that’s when Doctor Who first came on the air, it’s celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with a huge special in November, hence the royal visit.  That’s why I’m linking this, because I love Doctor Who and am terribly envious of their visit, and it is nice to see Charles actually smile and mean it in the photos in this article.  I know a lot of people don’t like Charles, but I don’t think he’s as horrible a person as he’s been made out to be.  He has his faults (a lot of them), but I do think he would make a relatively good king (at least he would make a much better king than William).

Kate isn’t in London? Will she be there for the birth?

After the press made such a big deal about Kate not attending the Percy wedding because she was frightened that she may deliver early and wanted to stay in London just in case, Kate Middleton has decided to not stay in London after all.  According to Us Weekly, Kate is staying in Anglesey, Wales to be near William during the last few weeks of pregnancy (and will come to London at some point to deliver, right?  They don’t say).  Us is claiming that there is a plan in place in case Kate goes into labor early: they have a helicopter ready to fly her to London to have the baby.  Here is the plan that they should have: stay put in London if you’re afraid you’ll give birth early!  That was the point of not attending the Percy wedding, right?  Then why aren’t you in London?  Because the press lied and I was right that it was never about staying close to London, it was about being asked not to attend.  This story just blows holes in their previous stories and shows, once again, that they are big fat liars.

Beatrice and Eugenie’s Style Transformation: The right way to PR campaign

There is a new article about Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in the Daily Mail.  It is all about how they have turned into really great young ladies over the last few years and are ready to take on real roles, as members of the royal family and in the real-world work force.  It’s a nice piece of PR.  Clearly it is designed to make them look good and make the public like them.  Well, it worked for me.  For now.  I will have to follow them into the future and see how they handle things and see where their careers take them to see if they really are serious about being working women, but for now I will give them a chance.  It seems like there are a lot of people behind the scenes that want these two to be taken seriously as royals, to no longer be the butt of jokes in the press, and to not be pushed out by Charles.  Just from this one article, these two girls seem much better than Kate or William, or Harry for that matter.
