Tiaras! This year’s Nobel Prize Ceremony and Banquet had so many pretty tiaras, and so many Swedes on display: King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Madeleine, Chris O’Neill, and Princess Christina. As previewed, Princess Madeleine stepped in for the absent Crown Princess Victoria on Day 1 of the Canada State Visit to Sweden. Princess Sofia was also in attendance and wore a new-to-her tiara for the occasion: the Amethyst Tiara. My favorite tiara!
Princess Madeleine is scheduled to attend this year’s Nobel Prize Ceremony and banquet on December 10. So as we look forward to that, I thought I’d do a Royal Rewind to look back at Princess Madeleine’s previous appearances at the Nobel Prize Ceremony and banquet.

Do we need some tiaras and cuteness? I think we need some tiaras and cuteness. Princess Madeleine hosted a fairy tale party yesterday, February 22, in the Mirror Room of the Royal Palace. Madeleine brought Princess Leonore along for the event and they both dressed in their finest Princess-wear.
