Do you remember how the guests at The Patron’s Lunch were charged £150 per person to attend the not-for-profit event which was supposed to raise money for the charities of which the Queen is patron, and how Peter Phillips, the Queen’s grandson, and his company were organizing the event? Well, SEL UK, the company Peter works for, received £750,000 in payment for organizing the event.

British royals attend The Patron’s Lunch

I’m a bit behind on posts now since I went out of town on Sunday (to Orlando – I’m fine; my friends are fine; what happened at Pulse is a terrible tragedy and my thoughts are with victims, and the families and friends affected by this hate-filled crime), so I’m playing catch up. Peter Phillips charging £150/person for street party for Queen’s 90th b-day + Prince Harry partying (update)

I keep hoping there will be news about Kate, William, or Harry scheduling appearances for January, but nothing has been released so far. Seeing as KP usually releases appearance info two weeks before the appearance, and there is just over two weeks left in January, it’s looking doubtful that any of them will make any appearances this month. In the meantime, we’ll keep ourselves busy with other royal news and events. For today, here’s an interview with the Queen‘s oldest grandchild, Peter Phillips, about the street party in celebration of HM’s 90th birthday. Also, Prince Harry was spotted out partying.
