Buckingham Palace released a new photo of The Queen and her heirs – Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George – to mark the start of a new decade.
The portrait was taken in the Throne Room of Buckingham Palace last month by Ranald Mackechnie.

This is the third Four Generations portrait we’ve seen. First, in 2013, the four generations took a photo at George’s Christening.

Second, in 2016, a four generations photo was released to mark the 90th birthday of The Queen. The photo was taken in summer 2015 in the White Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace for a special Royal Mail stamp sheet marking HM’s 90th birthday.
