William & Kate attend church with The Queen

For the last several years, Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge have stuck around Norfolk after the new year for Kate’s birthday, on January 9, and usually attend one additional church service with The Queen. This year is no different, and William and Kate attended church yesterday, January 5, at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the grounds of Sandringham.

When I first saw this new Roksanda Denton Coat Kate wore to church, I thought it was fine – not ugly, not pretty, but something a little different for Kate as the fabric pattern is a little bit more visually interesting than her normal coats. But then I saw the $3405 price tag on What Kate Wore, and yeah this coat is way too hideous for that price.

Fedoras aren’t my favorite hat style on women, but I do think Kate looks nice in them. This hat is a new Hicks & Brown Suffolk Fedora in Navy with Pheasant Feather Wrap for £95. Kate’s Stuart Weitzman boots are cute, and my favorite part of the outfit. She also wore her Sapphire and Diamond Earrings.

The Queen wore purple and the Kent Amethyst Brooch.

Carole and Michael Middleton joined the party for the church service as they are celebrating Kate’s birthday in Norfolk with the Cambridges, as is typical.
