Royals send condolences for Barcelona & Cambrils attacks

On Thursday and Friday, there were a string of terror attacks in Spain, killing over a dozen people and injuring over 100. In what is sadly feeling more and more like routine as the world suffers more and more attacks this year, various royals sent out messages of condolence to King Felipe of Spain.

Royals send condolences for Orlando

Several royals have either sent condolence messages or signed books of condolence for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the US Embassy in London, while King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited the US Embassy in Spain.

Prince William wrote a condolence letter to Jacintha Saldanha’s husband

Remember Jacintha Saldanha? The night nurse at King Edward VII Hospital who committed suicide just days after being the victim of a prank call by two Australian DJs when they pretended to be the Queen and Prince Charles in an effort to get information about then-pregnant-with-George Kate Middleton? It’s been two years since Saldanha’s suicide, and her husband, Ben Barboza, has given an interview to the Daily Mail’s Mail on Sunday in which he revealed Prince William wrote him a condolence letter three weeks after Saldanha’s death.
