1. She looks lovely, I think the tiara looks better this way, the emeralds would have clashed with the blue dress, and the whiteness of it really sets off her hair better. It looks 100% better this way, and better placement on the head.

2. KMR, you didn’t respond on the other post, but is there a way you can make it so that on both this blog and the Meghan Markle review, the newest comments are always at the top? it is time consuming to go through and find the newest ones

   1. I must have missed your comment on the other post. There is a way to set the comments so that newer ones are shown first. I have not ever tested that feature. I will look into it.

3. I think the new shape suits her better but hopefully she can reattach the emeralds or other stones. The dress is t at least a few sizes too small for her st the moment

4. I love this form of Sofia’s tiara and the photo of her with Daniel and Carl Philip is lovely! I love the amethysts, but the tiara sadly looks like just what it is: a necklace in a frame that always shows badly. I think it was Silvia who decided to convert this necklace into a tiara and I always hope she hadn’t done it. Wonderful hue of red on Silvia. Wish I could pinch her shawl! Have some long dress events coming up and it’d match my dress perfectly!

5. I think this tiara is exquisite. It looks light and delicate.

6. I think Sofia looks wonderful, and her softer hair adds to the improvement of the way the tiara sits. I love her dress and don’t think it looks too small.

7. The tiara is far, far better. Seems like she dumped her Paradise Hotel trashy hairstylist for someone who can do tiara hair better…

   That dress is really not flattering. The buttons are stretching a lot and gaping in an unattractive way.

   Both CP and Daniel look greasy and a bit gross but they always do, especially CP.

   1. Tiara is lovely and looks very beautiful on her. Dress? Not so much. But, she is a new mom and is battling the issue of excess weight, for sure. She looks happy and comfortable with herself. Good for her.

8. I love the new tiara. It has cleaner lines and really stands out against her brown hair. I love emeralds but prefer the new tiara. It looks more delicate this way

However, what I think would give this tiara more pizzazz is if it was given a bit more height; perhaps a second row at the bottom. I do like how the diamond only version looks. It’s nice that the tiara has versatility to it.

11. It seems as if it’s become an all purpose tiara, but I much prefer the emeralds, which gave it a gravity and more solid and balanced look- some serious bling. I loved that tiara at its debut. This one somehow looks diminished, like a starter. I, too, hope that she can switch in the emeralds, put perhaps the current design won’t allow it.

12. Oh how fun to play mix and match with one’s tiara!!! If only I could make my King understand how desperately I need a tiara to play with too!! lol Anyhow, this diamond only version is lovely and the new frame (?) sits much better on her head. It’ll be interesting to see if Sofia adds other stones in the future, I’m thinking of sapphires or aquamarines to match her beautiful blue eyes, if so that would make this tiara a truly versatile piece.

    4. Royal insiders have told the Daily Star that Buckingham Palace will make a crucial announcement sometime after 5pm today.

       The source claimed a meeting was held today, concerning the Queen retiring to her preferred residence at Windsor Castle for a while.

       Speculation was also rife after the details of a second “emergency meeting” of the Queen’s Royal Household and Kensington Palace Staff were kept under wraps.

       The Daily Star source said it “unbelievable as we have never had two big meetings in one day.

       Could it be an engagement announcement or the Queen stepping down?

       1. 5pm British time. Which has already passed. So it’s basically made up stuff. The media was going on and on about it last night as well.

14. Who cares about Sofia’s tiara when Silvia is wearing one of my favorites, the amethyst parue!! ???Kidding, I didn’t like the original version because the emeralds looked weird but now I kind of miss them. The frame is a definite improvement tho.
    This was a very fishy dinner. As a vegetarian I wouldn’t partake in much but I can sometimes think, “oh that sounds yummy” not so much with this one. No pics of the tablescapes? =(They always do lovely ones

       Fried clover- now I’ve heard everything. Reminds me of that weird avant garde trend of foraging for wild greens in some secluded mountain valley and charging outrageous sums for the privilege of grazing on them. Heh. Sorrel, yes, but clover?

       I do like that so many veggies were included. I wonder if you can ask for seconds.

       1. When we were little, we would suck red clover; it was sweet. No idea were were budding gourmets.

       I read Prince Charles tried to be vegetarian but due to the foods he eats on tours, trips, and at state dinners it was nigh impossible.

15. I think the redesigned tiara looks very nice on Sofia and while I am over dresses and gowns that are 100% lace she does look pretty. I also like when she parts her hair on the side. Hope those of you like me, who celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday are enjoying a day off today!

16. I like this setting of the tiara. The better angle helps a lot, too. If she can switch in different stones then she’s got a super versatile piece. I’d love to see it with diamonds and rubies. Her hair looks fantastic! Maybe she’s finally settling into her royal style. Other than the dress being a smidge too tight, I’m calling this a win!

17. I do like how the revised tiara sits on Sofia’s head. That is definitely an improvement. As for the tiara, it has always looked like a Disney store princess costume tiara to me and that hasn’t changed. One thing that bugs me is her hair. Sweden is always held up as the holy grail for tiara hair and somehow, Sofia’s always seems to be badly done. This example is no different. I am wondering if the part in her hair is the problem.

    As for Silvia, I am really hoping the colors that I see on my laptop are somehow off. Her tiara, lipstick, dress and shawl are all different colors and none of them go together. Looks like a horrible mess to me.

18. I LOVE the new tiara. It does look delicate and not very grand, but still it somehow suits her in a really lovely way.
