Prince William might be planning to visit Jecca Craig in Africa in June to take part in the Safaricom Marathon at the Lewa Downs wildlife reserve owed by Jecca’s father, Ian Craig.

William has “expressed a desire to take part in the marathon to raise money for the Tusk Trust”, but a Kensington Palace spokesman said William’s participation hasn’t been confirmed.

Is this marathon thing new or is it an annual thing?  If it is not new, is this the first time William has participated or has he done it before?  If William decided to go, would he take Kate with him or leave her and George at home in London?  Would Jecca actually be there or not?  Since it’s a marathon on her father’s estate she might not actually be there.  If she is there, would William hook up with her?  Would William hook up with Jecca even if Kate was there?

This report might be a load of hooey meant to drive the “William is banging Jecca while poor Kate is home with George” storyline, but this is the most interesting William has been in a long time, so might as well comment on it.  Of course, people like me commenting on the storyline are why it’s still being brought up, but whatever.  I want to know more about their relationship.

As far as the actually charity part, I’d rather William run a marathon to raise money for a conservation charity than burn all the ivory art in the Royal Collection to make a “statement”.  PS.  F the Guardian.
