I’m mainly doing this post because I want to talk about Princess Anne, but there are some other tidbits to throw in there as well. There is still a bunch of royal baby coverage.
Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, could not care less about Prince George Alexander’s arrival. Apparently someone asked her about it and she said, “Nothing to do with me, but it’s very good news.” I like Anne. I like the blunt way she puts things, she’s very no-nonsense. She is also the hardest worker in the British Royal Family, she does over 600 engagements a year–well over what any other royal does, including both the Queen and Prince Charles. Anne may come across as a blunt b-word, but she’s pretty awesome when you think about it. I’m sure she’s much more excited for the birth of her only daughter’s first child than for her nephew’s child.
Charles is apparently very excited about the birth of his first grandchild, and has nicknamed him Georgie. He was at the Whitstable Oyster Festival in Kent when he said George was a very good name, and that the baby will be known as Georgie in no time. Sidenote from the article: I find it interesting that in every article that mentions the Middleton’s house, they always say how expensive it is. I’m not sure why that is, but it is curious.
Supposedly, Kate gave birth without painkillers. Not sure how they know this since they even said that no one that helped deliver the baby is talking, but whatever.
Someone made a rendition of what George Alexander could look like as a teenager. I hate when people do this, it’s really creepy. I hate to say this, but it’s not a great-looking kid. He looks pretty average in the image they did. Hopefully they’re wrong and he won’t look like that.
