Buckingham Palace released three new photos of The Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George today. The photos were taken in the Music Room of Buckingham Palace and feature the four generations of royals making Christmas puddings. The photos are part of the launch of The Royal British Legion’s “Together at Christmas” initiative.
I think we now know why William and Kate drove separate cars for the BP Christmas lunch earlier this week: William took George in early to do this photoshoot with Charles and The Queen. This is probably also why Charles and Camilla arrived separately. George is wearing the same shirt in the Christmas lunch arrival photos as he is in these photos.
The Queen is wearing the Empress Marie Feodorovna’s Sapphire Brooch which features a sapphire surrounded by diamonds and a pearl drop pendant. It amuses me that even in photoshoots, the Queen is never without her purse.
The Queen, who is Patron of the British Legion, and the three Princes were joined by a Legion care home chef, Alex Cavaliere, and four veterans: Colin Hughes, Liam Young, Lisa Evans, and Barbara Hurman.
