Princess Charlotte turned 8 years old today, May 2. To mark the occasion, Kensington Palace released a new photo of the birthday girl – taken over the weekend by her mom, The Princess of Wales.
The photo was taken at Windsor and features Charlotte in a cute floral dress sitting in a wicker chair.
Charlotte looks so much like William here it’s crazy to me – like, all I see is William when I look at her face.
Anyway, happiest of birthdays to not-so-little-anymore Charlotte.
UPDATE: Kensington Palace released a second photo of Charlotte thanking everyone for the birthday wishes. This one was taken by Millie Pilkington, who took Louis’ birthday photos. Clearly this was part of that overall photoshoot. Charlotte is shown hugging the family dog, Orla, in a field of flowers.
