Today, January 9, is The Duchess of Cambridge‘s 38th birthday. I honestly never remember royal adults’ birthdays except for Crown Princess Victoria, but this year Kensington Palace released a new photo of Kate to mark her birthday, so here we are.
It’s a nice photo. I have no other opinions on it.
When I made the decision to return to blogging I decided I wasn’t going to cover event announcements like I had in the past, but since there’s nothing else to talk about with Kate today let’s do a little housekeeping.
Kate did her first event of the year yesterday, January 8. She held an Early Years Meeting as Patron of the Royal Foundation – not publicized but it showed up in the CC.
KP announced Kate’s first public appearances: On January 15, William and Kate will visit Bradford for a number of events; on January 20, William and Kate will host a reception at Buckingham Palace on behalf of HM to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit.
