The Royal Holy Trinity was out and about today. Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton attended the society wedding of Lucy Meade and Charlie Budgett at St. Mary’s Church in Marshfield, Gloucestersire.
Considering it was Lucy’s day, I’m going to talk about the bride first. Lucy looked lovely. I love the lace detail around the shoulders. Lucy wore a little tiara. It’s cute, but not overwhelming. It fits.
Kate wore her blue Missoni tweed coat she’s worn a few times now. She first wore this coat in March 2012 on a trip to Fortnum and Mason’s with the Queen and Camilla—this was the “can you smell tea by smelling it” trip. Kate then repeated the coat for a trip to Nottingham in June 2012, again with the Queen, but with William instead of Camilla. For the wedding, under the coat Kate wore a Whistles dress she previously wore to the Jubliee concert and the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics.
Something funny happened at the wedding. You know how starlets hate to wear the same dress as other starlets, and heaven help them if they turn up to the same event in the same outfit? Well that happened at this wedding. A woman showed up to the wedding wearing the same Missoni coat that Kate was wearing. This woman paired the coat with no hat, a white clutch, and pink strappy shoes. I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I think Kate looked better in this fashion face-off. I hate those pink strappy shoes, especially with the coat. Those shoes look like they belong on an early 20-something club girl with a mini skirt. For that reason alone I give the style win to Kate.
Jecca “I love boar hunting” Craig was there. She wore a red dress with a black blazer, navy clutch and black peep-toe shoes. She looks amazing.
Olivia Hunt attended—she has also been romantically linked to William. She wore a floral print dress, white jacket, black pumps and clutch. She looks quite lovely.
One of Prince George’s godmother’s, a heavily pregnant Emilia Jardine-Paterson, attended. She looks gorgeous. She wore a black, empire waist dress. She accessorized with a black hat, gold clutch and gold fridge-y necklace.
Let’s talk about the boys. Both Princes wore the customary morning suits. William wore a blue vest and red tie. Harry wore a yellow vest and blue tie. Cressida Bonas did not attend.
Others in attendance: Rose Farquhar; Tom Inskip, Harry’s friend who accompanied him to Vegas; James and Laura Meade, Lucy’s brother and William’s friend; Sam and Bella Waley Cohen; Tom and Missy Van Straubenzee, William’s old friend.
So, who won today’s best dressed? My two favorites are Emilia Jardine-Paterson and Jecca Craig. Both looked phenomenal. Jecca looked sexy in red, and Emilia was beautiful and adorable in black. I think I’ll give this one to Emilia, because her maternity style is excellent.

I noticed that she looked really thin under that coat. She’s probably dieting super hard ahead of the tour. Hope she doesn’t overdo it like when they went to Canada.
its not about the tour this woman cant cope with royal life, she thought it was a walk in the park, other european royals are doing just fine, mary of denmark, maxima, charlene, the thing is she was dating the prince for many years BUT she never bothered to learn anything,?
