After a week filled with other events, Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance on the final day of Royal Ascot 2022 (Friday, June 17).

Kate brought out a pair of Princess Diana’s diamond and pearl earrings – the c-shape pair with south sea pearls (that Kate changed the pearls on). Kate has previously worn these earrings to the 2019 BAFTAs.

I do love seeing Diana’s jewelry make appearances so this was a nice surprise since these are very large earrings for a day event like Ascot.

Along with Diana’s earrings, Kate wore a new Alessandra Rich brown and white polka dot dress which I think is very pretty. But I’m a sucker for polka dots.

Kate’s hat is by Sally Ann Provan and is the perfect complement to this dress. Brown suede clutch and pumps rounded out the look.

The only other royal in attendance on Friday was Peter Phillips with his girlfriend Lindsay Wallace (who’s really racking up the appearances at royal family events – is an engagement coming soon?).
