Harry & Meghan release new photo of Lilibet Diana who turned 1 on Saturday

Prince Harry and The Duchess of Sussex released a new photo of their daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to mark her 1st birthday, which was Saturday June 4.

The photo features Lilibet in a light blue dress in the backyard of their UK home, Frogmore Cottage. It’s a cute photo of a lovely ginger Lilibet.

More information about the birthday party from T&C.

According to a spokesperson for the Sussexes, close friends and family marked the special occasion on Saturday with at a casual backyard picnic, which included a cake from baker Claire Ptak—who notably made Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake in 2018. …

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan shared that they were touched by the birthday wishes for Lili, and that people around the world made donations amounting to over $100K to the World Central Kitchen (WCK) in her honor.

I’m surprised they released a photo of Lilibet for her birthday, to be honest. They didn’t release a photo after she was born and didn’t release a photo of Archie for his 3rd birthday back in May, so I wasn’t expecting this at all.

The photos were released by their friend and photographer Misan Harriman on social media, who captioned the posts “It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around.”

On a last note: I want to say that I think other than saying kids are cute, kids are off limits in terms of commenting on them. There is never any reason to attack a child. I obviously don’t allow comments on here at this time, but I’ve seen terrible comments about Archie on Twitter and other places and people have been attacking the Cambridge kids for years, so I want to make perfectly clear my stance: attacking children is never acceptable. It does not matter what you think of their parents, attacking children is WRONG. If you have a need to attack a child, you need to take a long hard look at yourself and why that is.
