Quick Royal Wedding update: it turns out Queen Maxima WILL attend the wedding of Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist.
Yesterday was the State Opening of Parliament. Accompanied by Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth traveled to the Palace of Westminster to open a new session of parliament – where she gave her/the government’s speech outlining the legislation. Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also attended, as did Princess Anne.
Royal Round Up! Lots of stuff this week with a bit of Kate Middleton, a bit of Sophie Countess of Wessex, more tiaras from Camilla Duchess of Cornwall and Queen Silvia, Queen Letizia kept busy, as did Queen Maxima and Queen Mathilde, and there’s a little bit of Crown Princess Victoria there at the end.
