This Royal Round Up includes an update to Prince Harry‘s schedule, some Prince William and Kate Middleton news and follow up on their privacy letter, and other British royals commemorating VJ Day.
Yesterday was the State Opening of Parliament. Accompanied by Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth traveled to the Palace of Westminster to open a new session of parliament – where she gave her/the government’s speech outlining the legislation. Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also attended, as did Princess Anne.

A Service of Commemoration was held at St. Paul’s Cathedral this morning in honor of the British troops who were stationed, and those that died (all 453 of them), in the 13 year operation in Afghanistan, and to mark the end of the operation.
Monday, March 9, is Commonwealth Day, and to mark the day there was an inter-faith Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey attended by The Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton).
